We are proud to announce that we have been granted 3.4 MSEK from the Energy Agency for further development of the Ag plasmonic solar cell technology together with Uppsala university.
– This is a great addition to our research capacity at this stage, says Jacinto Sá, CTO and one of the founders of Peafowl Solar Power and inventor of the plasmonic solar cell.
A successful project would greatly advance the potential for this new technology to power a wider range of devices, increasing the impact on sustainable development of buildings, cities and societies. Focus on durable, low cost, safe and commercially viable solutions that perform well in real-life conditions will enable widespread implementation.
