European Institute of Innovation and Technology, EIT, established a catalog,
”Accelerating sustainable energy innovations” where they lists almost 250 companies in Europe with different solutions within sustainable energy.
Peafowl Solar Power is one of 34 Swedish companies on the list, which is more than most other European counties like Germany and the Netherlands. Only France and Spain list more companies on in the catalog. Read the article in Techarenan here.
Markus Hökfelt, head of greentech VC på SEB, previously head of Almi’s Grentech Fond, and with a much experience of investing in “green tech companies”, being on the board of several companies in the catalog comments on the importance for companies to be listed in the catalog.
– Just to be listed in the catalog is a quality stamp, since EIT has a long experience of investing in this technology heavy sector. But it is also an excellent marketing opportunity, being exposed to new contacts and investors that otherwise would be hard to reach.
Our co-founder Cristina Paun adds;
– It is a great opportunity for us to listed in this catalog. Both to be on the same list as other remarkable companies within sustainable energy and also to get exposure towards the European market, outside Sweden.
